AddPlate Privacy Policy
tosa11053 (the "Operator") sets out below how information is handled in the iPhone app "AddPlate" (the "App").
1. Information the Operator collects
The Operator does not collect any personal information through the App.
The App has no account or sign-in feature and does not access your name, email address, location, contacts or photos.
2. Information the App stores on your device
To provide its features, the App stores the following only on your device. None of it is sent to the Operator or anyone else.
- Training records (date and time, weight, reps, perceived effort / RPE)
- Numbers you enter such as your 1RM, the program you chose and its progress
- Training days and start date
- Plate and bar settings, rest time and notification settings
- Your answers to the initial questions (used only to show recommendations, not stored)
3. Transmission to third parties
The App does not send the information above to any external server. It also does not use:
- Analytics tools
- Advertising or the advertising identifier (IDFA)
- Third-party sign-in or SDKs
4. Notifications
Training-day reminders and rest-timer alerts are local notifications scheduled on the device. Their content is never sent anywhere. You can turn them off at any time in the iPhone Settings app.
5. Backups
If you use iPhone backups (iCloud Backup or a computer backup), the App's data may be included by the iOS backup mechanism. Such backups are under Apple's service and your control; the Operator cannot access them.
6. Security
The App's data is stored using iOS data protection, so it is encrypted while the device is locked.
7. Export
The App can export your records as a CSV file or a backup file. Exports happen only when you choose to, and you decide where the file is saved or sent. The Operator never receives those files.
8. Deleting data
Deleting the App from your device deletes all data it stored on the device.
9. Children
The App can be used at any age, but training should be done with a guardian's approval.
10. Changes to this policy
The Operator may change this policy when necessary. Important changes will be announced in the App or on this page.
